In the year 1991 –Small Scale Industrialists & Our founder Thiru. Karumuthu T Kannan, Thiru.S.V.Arunachalam, Thiru.S.Vijayanathan and many industrialists in Madurai decided to Purchase Land and Develop an Industrial Estate for Hosieries & Knitting Industries like Thiruppur.
“Madurai Hosieries Industries Association” (MAHIA) formed and registered in the year of 1991 (Reg.No.273/1991 dt 28.10.1991) as per the Societies Act and decided develop Industrial Estate in MADURAI –SIVAGANGAI Main Road, Uranganpatti Village.
MAHIA Association Acquired Approx. 70 Acres of waste unused agricultural Land in its then President Mr. Karumuthu T Kannan’s Name On behalf of “Madurai Hosiery Industries Association” in the year of 1993.
